Very talented and versatile interpretations. That last one makes me think of sweet memories (could it be the caramelized and candied colors). I love all three. Congrats!Artists With Artitudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10440267930351802396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30461996.post-43249470024256152942007-08-11T09:54:00.000-05:002007-08-11T09:54:00.000-05:00Rima, you are so funny and exuberant and lovely to...Rima, you are so funny and exuberant and lovely to know. The pen effect was achieved by reducing the opacity to 50%. There is just so much to learn here and time just flys when I get a chance to work on it. Thank you for your encouragement! And Debi, Thank you for all your help especially the "transform" feature.Bobbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16568090556772960446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30461996.post-62723845422655654242007-08-11T09:48:00.000-05:002007-08-11T09:48:00.000-05:00Debi, One problem with the banner is the border ar...Debi, One problem with the banner is the border around it. It would be ok to remove it, but my sense of orderliness likes it. I think I'll have to fix it in html. pluggghh.Bobbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16568090556772960446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30461996.post-69760063949049539632007-08-11T08:07:00.000-05:002007-08-11T08:07:00.000-05:00BOBBIE! LOVE IT ALL!

Ok, I calmed down but I can't wipe the smile off my face! My cheeks hurt, I swear.

Oh, my gosh! (I'm quoting Yasmine here) - A painterly photoshoped AND collaged banner, you beautiful sly fox! I just adore it. Love it, it is so Cool Blogging Bobbie.

About the Photoshop exercise, first post: how the heck did you get that pen effect? I tried so hard to do it, but my results were awful. Yours is perfect, that was exactly what I was looking for and couldn't achieve. I really like it, it looks like those beautiful etching of cityscapes you can get in Old Montreal. It's worth the trouble of printing, matting and hanging.

Post 2: Cute! Gateau is so much more interesting than Gifts! A good, sophisticated look for that one. I like the poster edges for some things, and here it works really well, brings out those odd, interesting colours.

Post 3: I love that one too - like some old faded, sun-damaged photograph. I love that you edited the picture - Fawzan had a post recently about how it's ok to take things out for better composition. This one is like a nostalgic look back.

I'm glad you were inspired by this exercise. I love urban scenes, old streets, doors, etc.. (must be the urban planner in me - a lot of good that did me). The next one will be a different level of challenge, I'm still thinking about the best way to get us out of our comfort zone(s).

LOVE THE BANNER! OUCH, MY FACE HURTS AGAINRimahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11147436585136313287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30461996.post-54318123318074232582007-08-11T07:58:00.000-05:002007-08-11T07:58:00.000-05:00A nice series, Mom.
