Sign / Post 2 Things Challenge

I pray that a SIGN will be sent from God for all people to see and that He will POST a message of peace on the heart of man. Just imagine no more war, no more terror, no more maiming, no more killing, no more torture. No more. Imagine.

This is my 2 things challenge entry for this week.

Deconstruction:
Software was Photoshop CS3. Images were purchased from dreamstime.com ($4).

I used a quickmask and eraser on the background of the doves to isolate them, then pasted them into my work image and added the clouds layer. I added a layer mask [layer, add layer mask] and brought the doves forth from the previous layer. I used [image, apply image] to get the eye blended into the previous layers. I felt finished so I stopped here :)

hear, hear - from your lips to god's ears, literally. This is my one fondest wish and hope and the one dream that matters. What a great (in all its meanings), challenging, one-step-above, cool interpretation of this 2 things challenge.

Artistically very cool, as well, your talented photographer's eye is giving you such a quick mastery of this medium! it all looks so seamless and effortless, beautifully done. And what a punch of colour, love these colours, they really jump out.

Wow! This image just jumped out at me when I came on your post. I got quite a surprise, what with the colour and intensity of the circular light drawing you inwards towards the dove.

This is a great and serious interpretation of 'sign', because the dove is the ultimate sign of peace, with biblical resonances. Lovely!

By the way, I have signed onto Serif and hope to be producing some digital images soon, after seeing all your's and Frances, but it looks quite complicated!
