I loved this story about a giraffe that was given by Muhammad Ali, Sultan of Egypt to the Charles X, King of France. The book focuses on Zarafa's incredible journey, complete with maps, from Sudan to France. Lovely!

i read about that on Wikipedia I think. I thought it was interesting.
I must say that you do read a lot! Mom told me when she was going up you were able to read a book a day, wow! No wonder you need bookmooch and such. This book also sounds very interesting. You sure can pick them out. Amazing. You have completly opened my eyes to new and different types of books that I would have never read myself. Thank you. big hug
