Jesus Saves Me Dream

I had this dream when I was a child during the time I was making my First Holy Communion and learned of the "End of the World" which frightened me out of my wits. I dreamed that Jesus came down from the firey sky to our house and offered me a cherry saying "Eat this and you will be saved".

I love this installment in your dream series. I love the colors, which Im not sure I would ever think about using in a dream. I love how brave you are in sharing all of this. Do you feel like your soul is encouraging you to chronical, create and recreate your dreams visually?

Oh Mom, I'm so glad your Internet connection is back! How thrilling to come here this morning and see this new installment in the dream series.

I am BLOWN AWAY by this. I just love everything about it. I love the fiery but nostalgic colors, the trees and house that look like they have almost already become ambers, and in contrast the peace and calm in the attitudes of both the young girl and Jesus.

And then look, in His hand is a cherry. One cherry. One small cherry for one small girl, saved back just for her.

I LOVE IT. You go, Mom!

Wow and wow. the light is fantastic and I love the way you have used the background - it gives such a brilliant detached look - real dream-sequence style.
What a sweet dream for a little anxious girl. Love the idea of the cherry, a kind of opposition to the apple in the Garden of Eden. You have saved the reputation of fruit! Loved it.

What a kind Jesus, kind to little children, in offering you the cherry. It is a simple attractive little fruit that children love, and it seems he was making the road to salvation a lot simpler and a lot more kind to children! This must have been a very comforting dream, and that is beautifully expressed by the warm colours and glowing figures.

Yay, you're back - and with this amazing rendition no less! Wow, it's quite eerie. I think Debi "deconstructed" it extremely well, so ditto... It's very haunting and very beautiful.

I wrote "ambers" but I meant "embers." Amber is a good description too, with the colors you have.

While I'm here, I wanted to say that I'd love to hear your answer to Sue's question. I laughed when I read Frances' fruit reputation comment. (She's a funny lady, eh?) And leave it to Bev to see it from the child's perspective; she has a special connection with children and animals, I've noted.

Anyway, sorry to blah de blah here, I just had to come back to see the reactions of others. We love it! It's unanimous!

That's a very suggestive dream, isn't it. You have such a great imagination, as becomes a true artist. Your images are intriguing and very beautiful. I always look forward to them. I wish I could illustrate my dreams that well.
