Finally! It was a struggle but I have completed my "before" picture so I can follow along with the art lessons in the book "Secrets To Drawing Realistic Faces" . It was a struggle and doesn't even look like the photo, I guess I fudged a little and took some weight off. hehe. As you can see I need a LOT of help.

Thank you dear DebiCates for taking the photo of me :)

wow - Bobbie. Nice pic - I'm looking forward to hearing what you learn. I wish I could draw that well, let alone how you will draw once you have done all your practice and learnt some new tricks. I hope you are going to share as you go along.

Frances, I want to post my progress as I go along. As you know, being a gardener yourself, this is a very busy time for me. My dear son, Mike, came to give me a hand though (thank you, God!)

looking forward to it, Bobby. Yes, we are very busy. Should be busier, things need to be planted out and put into bigger pots. But it is a blessing. I so love work in the garden.

Not bad for a before picture. It is definitely recognizable.

Hey that is pretty good. Much better than what I could have done. Very interested in seeing the "after" shot.
BTW: I love the pic Mom took too. It is such a nice "real" picture of you. Shows such beauty and wisdom. I love it! And I love the lady too! :-)
And I am guessing Kit loves it too because when we pulled up Mom's blog, (I was instructed to check out the pictures she had posted that day of the kids) she clicked on your photo first and started talking that was her GG and talked about when we were at your house and remembered the dogs and chickens. It was very cute.

Nice to see you back!
Great drawing too, much better than what I do. I once drew my blonde white skinned son and he came out looking like a negro! Honestly, he even had dark lips. I will stick with the painting I think!
Welcome back!!

All, thank you for the much needed encouragement. We have finished the yard work for the time being and not a moment too soon as it is hotter than a pressure cooker in hades now :)
