My Photo

Well here I am, warts and all. I gave up makeup about 10 years ago after developing an allergy to mascara. I cut my long hair a couple of years ago after getting tired of washing and drying it. Now it is pretty much wash and wear :) The wrinkles are well earned and come from years and years of laughing and smiling, well also a bit of crying now and then.

You look like a lovely lady! Giving up makeup has left your skin so clear.

I love your wagon filled with flowers you have a few posts ago. Because I live near the sea we have a lot of boats filled with flowers, but no wagons!

Beautiful lady. I am considering taking up makeup - but I think it may be too late to learn how to use it. What you say makes me think perhaps I'm better off without it.
Your face shows your open heart. I can see Debi in you, even more than in the picture of the 3 of you she posted some time back.

Awww! I love that face. You are so dreamy, Grannie!

I gave up makeup 7 years ago, but lately I've taken up bits and pieces of it again.

So so so lovely.

Aha! So this is where the daughter and grand-daughters and great-grand-daughter get the good looks from! You have an timeless beauty, I didn't notice any wrinkles. Warts neither, haha... Such a beautiful smile, like Audrey's; such poise, like Debi; such a slightly mischievous look like Katlynn! Oh, and thank your lucky stars you still have hair to fuss about (mine is quite pitiable, as every doctor invariably points out to me). Lovely, lovely, lovely and loveable. Thanks!

I do love that face too! And I have come to love it more and more over the 29 years that I have known you.

Makeup...We can do your make over next time we get together with the Bare Minerals if you are still interested. I honestly love them and don't feel like I am wearing makeup but look the best that I have in my adult life.

It's nice to see you up close and almost personal, Bobbie. You have a lovely face and I can see where Debi got her good looks. My hair is short like yours, but I do wear make up. I am blond with blond eyelashes and I need all the help I can get. My picture is coming up soon.

Oh Bobbie! What a great gift you have given us! You are everything I imagined you to be: radiant and full of goodness and onesty. I LOVE your smiling eyes and your beautiful sile too. I am sending kisses across the screen. Mwahhhh!

Antigone, you are a deep well of interesting info. What is Bare minerals exactly? I saw something abt it on tv once, but didn't pursue. Do you really like it? Can you put something on your blog about it? do you have time? are you feeling better? am I annoying or what? heeheee

I love this picture of you. You remain a beautiful woman as you have been all your life. Thank you Elva Janette and Reedy Lee for making such a beautiful girl. And thank you Life for contributing to wrinkles of a full life, in all the right places.

Dad was always right. You do have the most sparkling eyes.
