Mandala Mania

This mandala is made from the above (bad) photo of a yellow sulphur butterfly and cypress vine which is threatening to take over the covered wagon filled with caladiums that you see in my blog header. The butterflies and hummingbirds love the vine and so I've let it take over. If anyone wants cypress vine seeds (while supply lasts) just email me your address and I'll send them as soon as they are ready to gather, which should be in the next month or so.

You have got the butterfly with his beloved vine forever in this mandala. I like the way that although it is a complex pattern you can still make out the butterfly, leaves and stalks of the vine.

Lovely, Bobbie.
You have really cracked this. I agree with Bev that it is lovely to see the parts of the original, pristine image.

I've posted the source image for those of you who want it and you are welcome to download it :) such as it is. One thing I like about photoshop is it can take my bad pictures and turn them into the picture I thought I took :) I used the poster edges filter and that is what made it pop. I thought it looked kinda christmassy too.

p.s. I am still using the mandala template I made, but will be testing them earthmandas.com templates again.

Good job, Bobbie! The butterfly is so delicate and such a pretty yellow color. You are very lucky to have such a pretty vine growing there. I bet it needs lots of sunlight, doesn't it?
