Mandala - K

Here is my first mandala-tile. Well, I think I should just call it a tile as it lacks certain mandala characteristics. It was an experience and a challenge creating it in Photoshop 5.5. I was like Frances and Irene, I just couldn't make heads or tails out of any web instructions. Can you guess what the source picture was?

You know what I like about you? Among so many things, your adventurous spirit. I admire your playful side and your insatiable curiosity.

Yum! Your tile looks like a swirly chocolate turtle cake (I am not sure of the name). Bravo! I tried to guess the origin but it was hard.

My best to you and DH :)

It's beautiful, Bobbie. You sure did a good job for the first time! No, I don't know what it was originally. It doesn't matter, I like it very much.

Mom, it's really, really, really beautiful! And I'm so glad to see you enjoying Photoshop so much. It's a pleasure for ALL of us.

P.S. I know what image it is, but I better not take say since you told me. ha!

Maybe a butterfly, as some of the markings look like a butterfly's, and the outside of the mandala has a touch of the shape of a butterfly's wings.

Hello, there Katlynns, you cutie pies! Wonderful design, Bobbie. I can't wrap my head around these instructions either, and I haven't even tried. I guess like with everything else, you need to fiddle with it until you get something you like.

You know I realized all those games I used to play on my laptop are now replaced with playing on Photoshop - yay! it is a lot more fun, and I'll bet a better anti-aging exercise. As some TV channel says, time well wasted.

I liked the little face around the edge....
You are one clever woman. I gave up ever hoping to actually make one of those. I am missing some braincells. You and Irene both got the point, but I missed it. Too bad for me.

You told me that it's all going the same way..............there nothing wrong with that, it is still a beautiful mandala! Love it
Now I see what it is made of; the face on the edges............fun.
