Hope Abides

I took this picture at my work today where we have a patio that is a little micro climate and butterflies seem to love it there. This Gulf Fritillary is feeding on Lantana. I enjoyed taking this photo and doing this mandala. It was a very centering activity for me. Later after reading the post on Frances' blog about John I added this message especially for him and his family.

ooh two of my favourites. I love the smell of Lantana and the funny multicoloured flowers. this is a beautiful mandala, I think it is lovely with the four butterflies.

An inspiring work, with the flower framed and protected by the butterfly's wings. All good wished to John and his family.

That's really a beautiful mandala, Bobbie. You certainly have become very good at them. You are a true artist. I think it takes more than the knowledge of the technique to turn out a good mandala, it takes talent too.

Hi Bobbie, I love the combination of colors you used for this piece. The arrangement along with the colors makes it a beautiful piece.
